Dr Mary Nangrahary
Dr Nangrahary is a passionate Consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in complex care patients, women’s health, cardiac disease in pregnancy and heart failure. She graduated in medicine in 2004 with a master degree in science from the Vrij University Amsterdam in the Netherlands. After working for 2 years in the Netherlands, she moved to Perth to complete her specialist training in General and Acute care Medicine and Cardiology with rotations at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital including 6 months rotation at Advanced Heart failure and Transplant unit at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
After being awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2015 in Cardiology, she undertook an additional 2 year training fellowship in Cardiac Imaging at Fiona Stanley Hospital Perth, where she also did extensive research in Left Atrial Appendage closure devices with publication presented at Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand this year.
She is currently also finishing in General medicine training and Obstetric Medicine training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus with plan to continue at King Edward Memorial Hospital in 2019.
Apart from her Cardiology practice at Maddington she also undertakes private work at Mount Hospital and performs elective and procedural transesophageal echocardiograms and angiograms. She is also part of the imaging specialists at Global Cardiology, providing her reporting services to them.
Despite her busy work life style she loves spending quality time with her young family and friends.
