Dr Mehra has a wealth of proficiency and experience at both National and International levels. He is currently affiliated at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital having practiced and studied extensively throughout Australia, India, and the United States. He is actively involved in research especially in understanding the respiratory disease burden in Aboriginal populations, sleep apnoea, COPD, Bronchiectasis, non-invasive ventilation, Respiratory Physiology, Infectious diseases, Pleural diseases and Lung Cancer.

- Sleep disordered breathing, Respiratory failure and non-respiratory sleep disorders.
- Complex airway and lung diseases (Asthma, COPD, Bronchiectasis, Lung fibrosis, Recurrent respiratory infections, sarcoidosis)
- Lung cancer, Pleural diseases and Intervention (EBUS).
- Assessment and management of chronic cough and dyspnoea.
