
Dr Danish Mahmud
Dr Danish Mahmud is an Endocrinologist and General Physician and currently holds public hospital specialist appointment at the Armadale Health Service. His special interests include:
- General Endocrinology including thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary, hypogonadism, PCOS and osteoporosis.
- Diabetes mellitus
- Obesity and weight management
- Undifferentiated medical problems (diagnostic challenges)
Dr Mahmud is a compassionate and motivated physician and is a professional member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian and New Zealand Obesity Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Mahmud completed his medical training at the University of Karachi (DOW University of Health Sciences), Pakistan, and received his fellowship (FRACP) with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2017. He undertook his post-fellowship training in Endocrinology at the Fiona Stanley Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital. He has also worked interstate and completed General Medicine training in Victoria and ACT.
